For the past seven years, I have had the privilege of working with interior designers, architects, builders, magazines, franchise hotels, cabinet companies, window companies, etc.. Throughout my time as an architecture photographer, my eye has grown to appreciate light and composition and the process of bringing all of the elements together to produce imagery that resonates with audiences. The technical aspects keep me coming back everyday, always learning something new and while I continue to grow with my photography, I firmly believe it is an artform that will never be fully conquered. There will always be more to learn and all I can do is evolve with the challenges as they come.
Prior to being a photographer, I came from a background you probably would never guess. I was a heavy diesel mechanic. I know, right? Crazy career change. While I no longer roll around in grease on a daily basis, in my free time you might find me tinkering in the garage on a project or see me around town cruising on my bike. I also have three labradors for kids and I travel a couple times a year, sometimes to foreign lands or just to a warmer climate to escape the snowy Montana winter.
